Bay of Bengal , Wellington Street, Thame, Oxfordshire, England.

This was our first curry back in England after 6 months in America (Florida, California & Vegas, celebrating a birthday ending in a zero…) & what a delight!

A very wide-ranging menu. We had the Sula (chicken – 59) & Hariali (lamb-79). The latter in particular was fabulous!  A new dish on the menu & one we hadn’t heard of. Really nice! Sula was also very good. Tarka dall was delicious and the Peshwari nan & onion rice were also very good.

We were told the wait for delivery could be about an hour as it was just gone 7pm on a Saturday night & we were 4 miles away from the restaurant. (Free delivery too!) However, it was almost 2 hours before it arrived.

Nonetheless, I still heartily recommend the food. Just allow for the delay. Delicious food but slow delivery. Still recommend very highly but allow for this…. 4 stars – would be 5 if delivery estimate had been more accurate. Great food is worth waiting for!
